About Corner House Studio

Located in Oakland, CA, Corner House Studio is a hub of creative exploration for young artists. We offer art classes, camps, workshops, and art-themed birthday parties for children ages 4-12. Our mission is to inspire creativity, build creative confidence, and connect our community through creativity.

Work Schedule

Our schedule requires availability during after-school hours, weekends, and no-school days. During the school year, you can expect approximately 5-10 hours of work per week. During the summer months and on no-school days, there are more hours available.

Job Responsibilities

• Studio Magic: Help maintain a clean and inspiring studio environment through miscellaneous cleaning and prep work.

• Art Materials Preparation: Stretch paper, organize materials, cut canvas and more depending on the lessons planned for the week.

• Greeting Families: Help families check their young artists in and out of classes.

• Assisting Teachers: Support our experienced instructors during class and share in the art making process.

Requirements

• Be 16 years of age or older.

• Possess a genuine passion for art and working with kids.

• Be flexible and enthusiastic.

• Have reliable transportation to our studio in Montclair.
